The New York based designer Alexander Wang got appointed creative director for Balenciaga last year. Even though he has his hands full with the French brand, Wang still remains truly involved in his self-titled brand. Since his debut in year 2007 Wang has showed in Nyc. However reportedly he is set to move his show from Manhattan to Brooklyn. This is the first time ever a designer has chosen the hip area, and Alexander Wang’s usual space at Pier 94 is switched to Brooklyn Navy Yard which is a shipyard on the East River side. Alexander Wang told WWD: “We found this incredible space, and it corresponds very well to this season’s creative concept”, which sound more than intriguing for his Fall and Winter 2014 show.
