In the FITTING ROOM
Or maybe for this time at the office… Someone (or let us say I…) did some shopping.
White tuxedo shirt from Dries Van Noten.
Looks really classy and stylish! I wanna see more!
nice!!! I need a white shirt!!! ;) xo, Alma
You mean, Elmo, since we’re back to writing in third person?
There´s nothing wrong with constructive criticism but this here has nothing to do with that anymore. Elin has not signed a contract which forces her to alwyays do the same and to answer all of the reader´s comments and to whatever her readers want her to do. This is her blog and her way of expressing herself and if that for her means having a group of creative people around her doing this blog with her and working together to make several new posts on a daily base possible than this should be accepted. Anyone having a problem with this way of blogging can just simply leave this blog and get inspired somewhere else but starting to compare Elin with Elmo is not just childish but also disrespectful for the work Elin and her team put into this.x
Yes, it must take so much hard work to decide that a white shirt is cool and should be photographed…
Listen, If I wanted to hear somebody preach, I’d go to church.
Elmo also speaks in third person format, so using Elmo as a comparison is is a legitimate comparison. I have not written that she looks like him. I have compared their vocabulary.
She hasn’t signed a contract but nobody forced her to make statements she clearly can’t live up to.
She has changed “we” to “I” now, meaning that she and her invisible team knew there was a problem.
So there is a team? Who are they?
What is it with that all of you get crazy over wanting to know who the team behind Elin is. If you would know who these people are what would that change for you. Maybe these people do not want their names to get published or the team is not set up completly yet so they want to wait with poblishing it. If you would know who the team was I bet you would come up with something else to give the people, working on this blog and putting an effort into it, even if it´s ,,just´´ a picture of a shirt, the feeling that this blog sucks. As a respond to all the criticism, that was mostly about the lack of posts on this blog, Elin did not delete this blog, but she builded up a team to make continious postings possible. Anna if the idea of this blog makes you so mad why don´t you just close the tab and do not visit this blog anymore. If you want a swedish girl with a nice style I can highly recommend you ,,Columbine Smille´´. best
You need to get out more often. If Elin didm’t know that the comments were valid, she wouldn’t have taken her time time to delete them then edit her post. That’s all I’m going to say on the subject.
And it doesn’t take an entire team to copy and paste photos from style.com. If that was the case Rumy Neely, Bryanboy, Garance Doré, Emily Weiss and Leandra Medine deserve the Nobel Prize for the work they are putting into there blogs. Look, another why just came up. Copied, and pasted!
Keep defending her and all you’ll end up getting are post that have already been posted on other websites.
She had written “(or let us say Elin)”, but had the criticizing commentd deleted. So think twice before you take pen to paper.
Deleting the comment or traces of evidence obviously means she wants to play victim and make it look like she’s being attacked.
It’s very manipulative. She’s selecrively been deleting people’s comments ever since reader’s asked her to clarify who “we” are and why she refers to herself in third person -although she’s edited those sentences now..
- Exactly. I cannot see how a picture of a shirt would bother anyone, except if you are jealous of that (very stylish and beautiful) shirt. This is a fashion blog – and Elin has a passion for fashion. Some might have a passion for computers, for writing, for singing, and if they decides to start up a blog – chances are big, that they would blog about the things that interests them the most. If some people are not interested in fashion, dislikes fashion or Elin’s blog – then why on earth are they here? I would never read/follow a blog, I did not have any interest of following – nor would I spend any energy on talking badly about the person behind the blog. Simply because I love the fact that we all are different, and because I think that it is normal with some respect for other people. I enjoy sometimes reading Elin’s blog, and I get a lot of inspiration from it. :) – Nina.
So crisp and chic! I need x
